Soy contador con 40 años de experiencia profesional y 25 años asesorando extranjeros en México. Antes de dedicarme a la consultoría de inversión, fui voluntario consular en Cozumel y lideré empresas turísticas en distintas costas del país — una trayectoria que hoy define cómo protejo a cada cliente.
Antes de los números, las personas
Soy contador de formación, con cuatro décadas en finanzas y 25 años enfocado en ayudar a extranjeros a establecerse en México con estructura y tranquilidad. Pero antes de ser consultor de inversión, viví algo que marcó profundamente cómo entiendo mi trabajo hoy.
El voluntariado consular en Cozumel
Durante varios años fui voluntario del Consulado Americano en Cozumel, apoyando a extranjeros — estadounidenses, canadienses y, más recientemente, ciudadanos de Belice — cuando enfrentaban situaciones difíciles en la isla: detenciones, accidentes, enfermedades graves y, en ocasiones, la muerte. Era el primer contacto entre esa persona (o su familia) y su consulado: coordinaba la atención, apoyaba en procesos de repatriación de cuerpos, contactaba a familiares y trabajaba junto a autoridades locales, militares y consulares. También apoyé casos de fallecimientos a bordo de cruceros, y en ese mismo periodo ayudé a crear el puente marítimo entre San Pedro, Belice, y Chetumal.
Esa costumbre no nació en una oficina — nació en una isla, contestando llamadas en los momentos más difíciles de la vida de alguien.
Un país conocido de costa a costa
Ese capítulo estuvo entrelazado con otro: operar actividades subacuáticas me llevó a conocer la costa del Pacífico y buena parte de los destinos turísticos de México, más allá de la Península. Mi involucramiento en el sector marítimo, aeronáutico, hotelero y gastronómico me dio un panorama amplio y real del país.

I'm an accountant with 40 years of professional experience and 25 years advising foreigners in Mexico. Before investment consulting, I volunteered in consular emergency response in Cozumel and led tourism businesses across Mexico's coasts — a background that still shapes how I protect every client today.
Before the numbers, the people
I trained as an accountant, with four decades in finance and 25 years focused on helping foreigners establish themselves in Mexico with structure and peace of mind. But before I became an investment consultant, I lived through something that deeply shaped how I understand my work today.
Consular volunteer work in Cozumel
For several years, I volunteered with the American Consulate in Cozumel — later also supporting the Canadian Consulate and, more recently, the Belize Consulate — helping foreign visitors through the hardest situations imaginable: arrests, accidents, serious illness, and sometimes death. I was often the first contact between that person, or their family, and their consulate: coordinating care, supporting the repatriation of remains, contacting families, and working alongside local authorities, military personnel, and consular staff. I also supported cases when a passenger died aboard a cruise ship, and in that same period, helped create the maritime bridge between San Pedro, Belize, and Chetumal.
That instinct wasn't built in an office — it was built answering phones on an island, on the worst days of strangers' lives.
A country known coast to coast
That chapter ran alongside another: running subaquatic tourism operations took me along Mexico's Pacific coast and through many of its tourist destinations, well beyond the Yucatán Peninsula. My involvement in the maritime, aviation, hotel, and restaurant sectors gave me a genuinely wide view of this country.
